Welcome to Week 3!

Objective: To explore what it means to know God and reflect on how knowing Him influences our walk with Him compared to simply following religious patterns.

Now that you are familiar with how to study God's Word, this lesson will help you use this new skill to accomplish the most important part of your Christian walk: Knowing God.

In Matthew 7:23, we find one of the most disheartening scriptures in all the Bible. The scene opens on Judgement Day as professing saints find themselves standing before the righteous King of Glory. Then, after declaring the good works they had done for Christ, they hear the fateful words,

"I never knew you. Depart from me, you lawbreakers!"

The goal of Bible Study isn't the Bible Study itself. The goal is to know Christ and Him crucified! Now let's get started!
